Grid browsers in ENOVIA simplify the task of connecting multiple objects of different types.
The nature of the connections managed in a grid browser vary depending on the types of objects being connected.
The part EBOM Access grid connects Persons or Company(s) to parts to grant access.
The part BOM Copy From grid connects the context part and first level BOM children to other parts in ENOVIA.
The Send Part and 1st-level Children to SAP grid, accessed on the part SAP Plants page, SAP BOM button, connects a part and BOM children to SAP plants, sets the SAP Plant Procure Values and Blocking of parts at each plant, and sends part information to selected SAP plants.
The Add SAP Plants and Send Only Parts with Buy Procures grid, accessed from a collection, Actions>SAP Plants, Connects Parts in a Collection to SAP Plants, Sets Part / Plant Procure Values for the selected parts in the collection, and Sends Parts in a Collection to SAP Plants (Buy Only).
The EC Affected Items Access grid, accessed on the EC Category Tree connects Persons or Company(s) to parts on the ECs Affected Items list to grant access.
The Product Configuration and Region Grid, accessed from a Product Configuration, Product Model, or a collection, allows the user to connect Product Configurations to Lexmark business locations.
Even though connections mean different things in the context of different grids, the methods for working in grid browsers are common to all.
See Grid Browser Controls for details on working in Lexmark PLM grid browsers.
When grid browsers have unique functions, the details are noted on the individual grid browser Help page.
