Send to SAP Plants

When SAP Plant Assignment, BOM Children Connection and SAP Plant Procure Values and Part Blocking are set, parts may be sent to SAP.

Click Send to SAP in the Send Part and 1st-level Children to SAP Grid.

Send to SAP Plants window displays. Only plants where user has ‘send access’ are shown.

Use the check boxes to select plants to receive the Part/BOM information.
Click when ready.

A Results window displays the outcome of the operation for each plant attempted.

Failure messages include an explanation where applicable.

All non-Buy BOM children must be connected to the plant.

All children of non-Buy BOMs must have a Plant Procure Value set.
Sub-assemblies must be sent before Parent BOMs.

To open a part in a new window, Shift + Click on the Part/BOM name in the SAP BOM Send Part Grid of the parent part.
