The EC Affected Items Access grid allows a user to connect Persons or Company(s) to parts on the EC Affected Items list to grant part access.

The Affected Items of the current EC make up the grid rows.
Persons and / or Company(s) make up the grid columns.
When the grid browser initially displays, people and companies that already have access to at least one part in the EC are shown.
Use on the page tool bar to Add People or Add Companies to the grid.
Connect the displayed Persons or Company(s) to Affected Items to grant access.

To manage part access using the EC Affected Items Access grid:
Access an EC.
Click Affected Items Access on the category tree.
If Affected Items Access is not shown on the on the category tree, contact the PLM Hotline.
The EC Affected Items (parts) are listed down the left of the grid.
The Access page grid browser displays the Persons and / or Company(s) that already have access to the part(s) and may be connected to additional Affected Items to grant access.
Click on the page tool bar and select to Add People or Add Companies.
Fill in the search criteria.
Click Find.
The Search Results page displays.
Select from the list.
Click Select.
Persons or Company(s) added to the grid are not connected to any parts.
The Security Setting of the object determines what connections can be made once the Persons and / or Company(s) are added to the grid:
Internal Use: Company only
Lexmark-Confidential: Company or Person
Lexmark-Confidential-Restricted: Person only
Connect the cells in the grid to grant access between the BOM parts and Persons or Company(s).

Persons or Company(s) that are given access to the EC Affected Items using the grid browser will be displayed on the Access page of the individual parts.
