ENOVIA Icons

Icons specific to working with documents and files are detailed in Document & File Icons.

Tool tips (hover text) appear when you hold the mouse cursor over page tool bar buttons.

Icon	Name	Description
	Actions Menu	Accesses various actions that you have rights to perform in the current view. Some actions are not allowed until after you make a selection.

	Actions Menu Icon (2015)	Accesses various actions that you have rights to perform in the current view. Some actions are not allowed until after you make a selection.
	Reassign	Opens a window to search for a person to reassign a task.
	Customize	Use to customize the table view or use the drop down to select to Create New Table View. Columns of data and attributes may be selected. Widths of Columns may be set. Sorting may be set.
	Display Mode	Details or Thumbnail display.
	Wrap	Tuen on and off test wrapping
/	Move/ Copy	Toggle Move / Copy
	Row Grouping	Group data by up to three column attributes
	Additional Tools	A drop down list of commands that are not displayed on the tool bar.
	Edit	Accesses edit screens/fields.
	Launch Window	When accessed from the page tool bar, the entire table displays in a new window.
	Refresh	Refreshes data in the table.
	Customize Table View	Opens a window to select object attributes to display or hide as columns on the current page, set the width of columns, sort the objects by up to three attributes, and assign a Name to the view you create. Use the pull down arrow to select an existing View.
	Filter	Filters content displayed in the table.
	Compare	Compares attributes of selected items.
	Export	Exports data to a file. The export date format is determined in Set Preferences.
	Chart	Generate charts.
	Calculate	Calculates totals for selected values in a table.
	Printer Friendly	Displays pages in a printable format.
	Page URL	Displays the web address of the current page.
	Multi Column Sort	Sort data by up to three of the displayed attributes.
	Trigger Validation	Shows any trigger associated with altering the objects on the current page. Triggers are events that either perform or prevent an action.
	Add to Clipboard/Collections	Adds selected item(s) to the default ENOVIA Clipboard Collection. Use the pull down arrow to add to existing collections or create a new collection.
	Help	Launches the ENOVIA help system. The help page that displays is relevant to your current ENOVIA page.

Some pages will include the following icons on the page tool bar:

First Row:

Navigate/Zoom: display the selected object(s) at the top of the table

Clipboard / Collections pull down button

Search in Structure pull down button

Second Row:

Toggle Maximize: click to view the table in the full browser window, hiding the Category Tree and Structure Tree on the left, or click to restore the left of the screen if hidden

Back to previous view

Refresh the table.

Expand All relations of the objects on the table.

Show in Flat Mode: the table displays the data without the layers of relations.

Disconnect parts from BOM relationships.

	More	Accesses additional tabs/menu items.
	Launch Window	When accessed from a line item/table row, displays properties for the item in a new window.
	Drop-down menu	Displays a selection list.
	Browse / Choose	Displays a search or selection page to browse or search for items to fill in a text field.
	More	When moused over, displays additional text in a tool tip.
	Edit	Accesses edit screens/fields.
	Subscribe	Defines notification alerts.
	Calendar	Allows you to select a date.
	Expand	Expands menu items (if additional items exist for a menu item).
	Pagination On	Displays list results on multiple pages and turns on page navigation.
	Pagination Off	Displays all list results in one table and turns off page navigation.
	Files	Indicates that files are attached to the object.
	Reference Document	Indicates that a reference document is attached or available.
	Approvals	Displays the Approvals grid for attaching electronic signatures prior to promotion to the next lifecycle state.
	Route	Displays route information, including a link to review route details.
