Promote/Demote Objects
Promote/Demote ObjectsIn the context of the object to promote/demote:
Navigate to the object you wish to promote or demote.
Use the State on the Info Bar to select the next lifecycle state.
or
Click Lifecycle in the object category tree.
The object lifecycle displays.
Click

on the page tool bar.
Object changes lifecycle state.
Whenever an object is promoted, ENOVIA sends notifications to all assignees.
A Route icon 
indicates a route
was initiated that must be completed; then the object will automatically
promote to the next state.
Promote/Demote Single Objects
Individual objects with applicable lifecycles listed on a table may be promoted/demoted directly:
Right Mouse Click and select the desired action.
Click OK in the confirmation message.
The page refreshes showing the new lifecycle state of the selected items.
An information message at the top of the table displays the results of a successful operation.
If the promotion/demotion fails, a Results of Action window appears to explain the reason.
Promote/Demote Multiple Objects
Multiple objects with applicable lifecycles listed on a table may be promoted/demoted directly:
Select one or more items using the
check boxes 
.
Click 
to promote the selected objects or 
to demote.
The page refreshes showing the new lifecycle state of the selected items.
An information message at the top of the table displays the results of a successful operation.
If the promotion/demotion fails, a Results of Action window appears to explain the reason.
