The Tool Quote Request Info Tracker, created on an ENOVIA part, generates the quote request spreadsheets.
See Create an Info Tracker to get started with Tool Quote Request Info Trackers.
The Info Tracker Properties page includes fields that the Owner/Originator may edit to provide more detail on the request.
In the Info Tracker Submit state, the owner adds a supplier workflow based on a Route Template and makes any Task assignments the Route Template requires to start the Route.
Completion of the Submit state Route may trigger automatic promotion of the Info Tracker to the Review State, or simply notify the Owner/Originator of completion, depending on the Route Properties.
When creating a Route Template, set Route Completion Action to Promote Connected Object for automatic promotion.
After a Route is created -- by using Add Task, Add from Template, or on the Info Tracker Routes page -- go to the Info Tracker Routes page, select the Route, and Edit Details to set the Route Completion Action to Promote Connected Object for automatic promotion.
In the Review state, if the Owner/Originator added a Review Route, it automatically starts.
Review routes for TQR Info Trackers vary from project to project. The Info Tracker creator may Add Tasks and Routes for the Review state at any time.
Completion of the Review Route may trigger automatic promotion of the Info Tracker to the final, Approved state or simply notify the Owner/Originator of completion, depending on the Route Properties (see above).
In the Approved state, the Tool Quote Request is complete.
The Info Tracker may be manually promoted, if Routes are not used to promote automatically.
The Tool Quote Request Info Tracker Category Tree includes links to pages of Info Tracker content:
The TQR Info Tracker Properties page, accessed by selecting the Name link, includes information that may be relevant to the quote.
The Properties page is initially displayed when an Info Tracker is selected. See View Info Trackers.
See Edit TQR Info Tracker Properties for Properties page details.
The TQR Info Tracker Lifecycle page displays:
Lifecycle -- for manually promoting or demoting the Info Tracker.
Approvals/Tasks from the Info Tracker Submit and Review Routes
The Submit state Route/Tasks is blank until the Owner/Originator adds a route from a Route Template for the particular project and supplier.
If the Route includes role based assignments, the Task(s) must be assigned to a person with that role before manually starting the Route; otherwise the Route starts automatically.
If a Review route is added, the Review state Assignees and Tasks Titles are listed, but the Route starts automatically after the Submit state Route is complete -- no work is required for the Review Route.
Routes -- The routes for each lifecycle state of the Info Tracker are displayed.
The TQR Info Tracker Files page is where documentation may be added, checked out, and checked back in.
Files attached to the Info Tracker --
"Part - Plastic Part and Mold Quote Workbook.xls"
"Part - Sheetmetal Part and Die Quote Workbook.xls"
Part information must be completed by the Info Tracker Owner/Originator in the appropriate file and the unused file may be deleted.
Other files may be more appropriately added on the Reference Documents page. Check with your management for proper usage.
The Tool Quote Request Info Tracker Owner/Originator must:
Edit TQR Info Tracker Properties as needed,
Update Quote Workbook for the appropriate type of tool to be quoted and delete the unused quote workbook, and
Select Supplier Workflow to create a Route for the specific supplier to provide the quote.
