Promote an Info Tracker
Promote an Info TrackerThe Route Completion Action setting of Info Tracker Routes determines if the Info Tracker automatically promotes at Route completion.
Promote Connected Object is the default setting to automatically promote the Info Tracker when the Route is complete.
Select Notify Route Owner and the Info Tracker does not automatically promote when Route is complete.
In cases without automatic promotion, the Info Tracker Owner/Originator is notified of Route completion and must promote the Info Tracker to the next lifecycle state to continue the workflow.
To promote an Info Tracker:
Access the Info Tracker.
Click the Info Tracker link in the Route completion email notification, or see View Info Trackers for more information.
The Info Tracker opens on the Properties page.
Click Lifecycle on the Info Tracker category tree.
Click 
on the page tool bar.
The Info Tracker promotes to the next Lifecycle state, automatically starting any associated Routes.
