When a workflow is added from a Route Template or generated automatically in an EC or Info Tracker creation, some Assignees may be listed by system role.
A role based assignee is indicated with the "role" icon, .
The Route cannot be started with system role Assignees.
After assigning role based tasks, the route may be started.
The Owner/Originator of the context object must assign a person to any role-based Task in the Submit state Route.
The Route starts automatically if there are no role based Assignees.
To assign role based Tasks to individual ENOVIA users:
Access the context object (EC, InfoTracker, etc.) of the Route.
Click Lifecycle on the category tree.
The object Lifecycle page displays.
Click on the Approvals/Tasks tab tool bar.
The Approvals/Tasks edit window displays.
Select a person for each task using the Assignee column pull down lists.
The Assignee column pull down list is limited to persons with appropriate roles in the RDO of the Info Tracker.
To assign a person not on the pull down list, click the browse/choose button next to the Assignee column and search and select from all ENOVIA users.
Some Tasks may require a Due Date. This field may be set in this window, if needed.
Click Done.
The selected persons are displayed in the Assignee column on the Approvals/Tasks tab of the Lifecycle page.
Start the Route if all other work is complete.
