Quick Search
Quick SearchQuick Search is a simple, direct way to search for an ENOVIA object.
Quick Search is based on four basic parameters, with no additional browse/choose searching required to build the query:
Name
Type -- is a pull down list with top-level, basic Types for easy selection
Rev
State
When a Quick Search is executed, the search results are displayed in a table on the same page as the query terms.
The Quick Search query terms may be adjusted while viewing the latest results.
Buttons on the page tool bar may be used to work with the search results.:
The search results table layout and columns can be configured for easier viewing of relevant data.
Items in the search results may be easily added to the Clipboard or Collections.
The search results may be filtered, searched, compared, formatted and exported, sorted and grouped by displayed attributes.
Charts may be generated from the results.
Where
applicable, selected objects in the search results table may be promoted
and demoted
