The Cost Import Template is an Excel spreadsheet with columns for each cost attribute that imports multiple costs in one operation.
The template may be used to create new costs or to update existing costs.
The Cost Analyst role in ENOVIA is required to import costs.
When updating existing costs:
Create state costs are simply changed and previous values are overwritten.
Active state costs are retained and a new revision is created for the new imported cost information.
To ensure you are working with the latest version, download the template from ENOVIA each time you import costs.
Once the data is entered into the template, save the file under a new name and see Cost Import Procedure to perform the import.
As the ENOVIA functionality evolves, the template is updated with fields for new attributes, etc.
Be sure to use the latest, fully functional version of the template, which is always available in ENOVIA.
To locate and download the latest version:
You may click this link, Cost Import Template, to open ENOVIA in a new browser window (log in may be required) and directly access the document with the template.
