  Cost Import Procedure

When the data is entered into the Cost Import Template, save the spreadsheet with a new name and note the name and location of the completed import file.

 

To import costs into ENOVIA:

  1. Select on the ENOVIA Top Bar.

  2. Select Engineering > Cost > Import Mass Part Cost . . . .

The Import Mass Part Cost window displays.

  1. Click .

The File Upload window displays.

  1. Locate and select the spreadsheet with the cost data to import.

  2. Click in the File Upload window.

The file name and path are displayed in the File field in the Import Mass Part Cost window.

  1. Click Next.

The Import Mass Part Cost window displays the costs and all associated data from your Cost Import spreadsheet.

Mandatory data that is missing and invalid values are color coded, and costs that may have other issues with importation are marked with the following icons:

  1. Use the icon check boxes to select costs with the applicable issues or directly select costs.

  2. Click Done to perform the import.

or

  1. Click Mass Edit on the tool bar to edit data for the selected costs.

The Cost Edit window displays editable fields for the selected cost data.

  1. Make any required changes.

  2. Click Done.

The Import Mass Part Cost window redisplays.

  1. Select the costs to import.

  2. Click Done to perform the import.

The costs will be displayed on the Cost page of the part(s), and in the EBOM PowerView, Flat BOM tab, View: Costs.
