You must own a part and it must be in the Create (Development) or Preliminary (Production) states to delete.
Deleted parts can no longer be accessed in the system.
Select Engineering BOM App > Engineering > My Engineering View > Parts.
Select the parts to delete using the check boxes .
Click on the page tool bar.
Select Delete Selected.
A confirmation message appears.
Click OK.
The Parts page refreshes and the selected parts are no longer shown.
Parts in Park Workbench, View: Default, may be deleted.
Launch Part Workbench with the required parts.
Select the Default Part Workbench View.
Select the parts to delete using the check boxes .
Click on the page tool bar.
Select Delete Selected.
A confirmation message appears.
Click .
The Part Workbench refreshes and the selected parts are no longer shown.
Search using Quick Search or Tool Bar Search.
In the Search Results, select the part(s) to delete.
Select Actions > Delete, on Quick Search page; or , on the Tool Bar Search Results page tool bar.
A confirmation message appears.
Click .
The Results re-displays with the selected part(s) deleted.
Add parts/specifications/ECs to a Collection.
Access a Collection.
Select items to delete using the check boxes .
Click on the page tool bar.
Select Delete.
A confirmation message appears.
Click .
The Collection contents re-displays with the selected items deleted.
Parts in a tab drawing may be deleted directly from the tab drawing Parts page:
Navigate to a tab drawing (see Tab Drawing Overview)
Click Parts on the tab drawing category tree.
Select the parts to delete using the check boxes .
Click on the page tool bar.
Select Delete.
A confirmation message appears.
Click .
The tab drawing Parts page refreshes and the selected parts are no longer shown.
