Materials Compliance

  Import Material Declaration File (*.MCC)

When a supplier sends the certified output file (.mcc) from the Compliance Connect form, in response to a Material Declaration request, a Lexmark Compliance Engineer imports the file into ENOVIA.

To import an MCC file:

  1. Click on the ENOVIA Top Bar.

  2. Select Materials Compliance > Import Data . . . on the Actions menu.

The Import Data window displays.

  1. Click for the Selected File field.

The File Upload window displays.

  1. Locate the .MCC file to import on your computer and double click or select and click Open.

The file name and path display in the Selected File field.

  1. Click Import or Preview Import.

Preview Import validates the contents of the import file and logs the actions to be taken if the file was actually imported.

The Submitted Files list on the Import Data window displays the files processed through this window:

Action shows if the file was for preview or import;

Job Request shows a link to open a Monitor Progress window for the file import or preview;

Log shows icons to either download or view the log file for the file import or preview.

The imported Material Declaration is in the Reported state and connected to a Compliance Reported Part with the same name as the MEP.

  1. To directly connect the Material Declaration to the MEP, review the data and promote the Material Declaration to Accepted state.
