A Material Content Declaration to report parts, materials, and substance data is required of all Lexmark suppliers using the Material Content Declaration Form (also known as the Compliance Connect form), for the following:
Current production parts
Changes in the parts
Materials, substances
Weight
Part number
Microsoft Excel is required to use the Material Content Declaration / Compliance Connect form.
Macros import the pre-populate data in the Tab-Delimited text file (*.txt), provided by Lexmark, validate the data as you go, and certify and export the data.
The form requires that Excel macros are enabled. If macros will not run, change the Microsoft Excel security settings:
On versions older than Excel 2000, choose to Enable macros when you open the form.
Excel 2000 - 2007, if the Security setting is High, macros are automatically disabled.
Set the Security to Medium (Tools menu, Macro submenu, Security command, Security Level tab);
Select to Enable macros when you open the form.
Excel 2007 and later, store the Compliance Connect form in a trusted location and all macros will be enabled.
Office button, , >> Excel Options >> Trust Center >> Trust Center Settings >> Trusted Locations.
