Revise Part Specification
Revise Part SpecificationA part specification can be revised directly on the Revisions page (see below) or through an Engineering Change.
A specification must be in the Approved or Release state to create a new revision. The command is not available otherwise.
New revisions of part specifications in an EC For Revise are created upon promotion of the EC from Submit to Evaluate.
Part Specification revisions may be deleted:
The Part Specification revision may be incremented to prevent use of a rejected revision level.
To revise on the Revisions page:
Select Revisions on the category tree.
The Revisions page displays.
Click
on
the page tool bar.
The Revisions page refreshes and a new revision in the Preliminary state is shown.
The new revision does not include any files from the previous revision.
