Info Trackers -- PPAP

  Edit PPAP Info Tracker Properties

The PPAP Info Tracker includes fields on the Properties page that may be set as needed by the Owner/Originator after the Info Tracker is created.

To add a supplier to the list, call the PLM Hotline.

Setting the Company allows access to the PPAP Info Tracker by members of that Company who are also members of the related part RDO. Access may be extended or altered on the PPAP Info Tracker Access page.

The PPAP Tool pulldown lists all the tooling associated with this part. See Create a Tooling Part for a Part and Add an Existing Tool to a Part.

If the part has tooling parts, select a PPAP Tool for the Info Tracker. Some parts may not require tooling.

 

The following attributes are detailed in PPAP Types and Fields / Terms.

The PPAP Approval Type, PPAP Limited Quantity, and PPAP Off-Specs fields may require setting in the Review state, once the results of the analysis are known.

To add or change information in the Info Tracker Properties fields:

  1. Access the PPAP Info Tracker.

Info Trackers initially display on the Properties page.

  1. Click on the page tool bar.

  2. Select Edit Details on the Actions menu.

The PPAP : Properties displays in a right side window pane.

  1. Enter information in the available fields or use pull down lists to set values.

  2. Click to save the changes and close the editing panel.

The Properties page refreshes, showing the new details.
