  View and Grant Object Access

To view access to an object,

  1. Navigate to the object.

  2. Click Access on the object Category Tree.

The Access page grid browser displays the Persons and / or Company(s) that have access to the object.

Grant Object Access

  1. Search for and select the object.

  2. Click Access on the object Category Tree.

The Access page grid browser displays the Persons and / or Company(s) that already have access to the object.

  1. Click on the page tool bar and select to Add People or Add Companies.

  1. Fill in the search criteria.

  2. Click Find.

The Search Results page displays.

  1. Select from the list.

  2. Click Select.

Persons or Company(s) added to the grid are not connected to any parts.

The Security Setting of the object determines what connections can be made once the Persons and / or Company(s) are added to the grid:

  1. Connect the cells in the grid to grant access between the BOM parts and Persons or Company(s).

Grant Mass Access from List of Objects

This procedure shows granting part access, but may be used on any page with a list of objects, including Collections and Park Workbench:

  1. Access the Parts page:

  1. Select My Social and Collaborative Apps (top or north on the ENOVIA Compass):

  1. Select Engineering BOM on the displayed Apps list.

The main application window displays your Parts.

  1. Select the objects to grant access.

  2. Click on the page tool bar and select Access.

The Access page grid browser displays the Persons and / or Company(s) that already have access to the object(s).

  1. Click on the page tool bar and select to Add People or Add Companies.

  1. Fill in the search criteria.

  2. Click Find.

The Search Results page displays.

  1. Select from the list.

  2. Click Select.

Persons or Company(s) added to the grid are not connected to any parts.
