When the certification and export of the Material Declaration data is complete, a file path and name are displayed in the Certification Complete window.
Lexmark only accepts this .MCC file format.
Email the MCC file to the requestor.
Supplier will be notified of the status of the reported data (Accepted/ Rejected).
The receipt of the Material Content Declaration Form does not guarantee acceptance of data.
The data is evaluated before it is accepted or rejected.
The guidelines are found in a separate document -- Lexmark Validation Guidelines for Material Declaration Content Form.
The evaluation of the Material data is technical and different than Auto-validation in the Material Declaration Content Form.
Suppliers are notified when data is rejected.
The request to resubmit follows the same process.
When parts are accepted, the Lexmark request for the particular parts is closed.
Request to resubmit for accepted parts may occur, to comply with changes in standards, legislation, and other specification requirements that directly impact Lexmark.
