  Using Collaborator

Many different types of ENOVIA objects -- such as Parts, ECs, Documents, Costs, etc. -- have the collaboration feature.

To use ENOVIA Collaborator:

  1. Access an object Properties page or a page with a list of objects, such as Parts.

  2. Use the check boxes to select one or more objects on a page.

  3. Click on the page tool bar.

The Collaborator panel displays on the right of ENOVIA list pages and opens in a new window when in the context of individual objects.

  1. Click a radio button to select to create a Task, Notification, or Discussion.

The Discussion option is only displayed when one object is loaded in the Collaborator.

  1. Click to add ENOVIA users to the Collaborator as needed.

  1. Use the check boxes to select people.

  2. Enter a Subject and Message, as required.

  3. Verify the object(s) loaded in the Collaborator.

Objects may be added, removed or replaced.

  1. Click to create the selected collaboration.

A message to the left of indicates collaboration status.
