The Collaborate feature provides a single interface for users to work together on ENOVIA objects.
Click on the page tool bar of an object or select objects in a table list then click to display the Collaborator panel on the right of the ENOVIA screen or in a new window, depending on context.
In Collaborator, you may add objects from the current screen, select ENOVIA users, and create:
Notifications
Collaborator creates a Route with approval Tasks for the selected persons.
The ENOVIA objects loaded in the Collaborator are connected as the Task Content.
The Collaborator Message field is displayed in the Route Description and as the Task Instructions.
The Task appears on each assignee's Tasks page and generates an email notification to each assignee.
The Collaborator Task creator owns the Route and may view it at Routes > Routes.
All assigned users must respond to their Tasks -- Approve, Reject, or Abstain -- before the Route is complete and the owner is notified.
When all the Tasks are either Approved or Abstained, the Route is complete and the Route owner is notified.
When a user Rejects a Task, the Route stops and the Route Owner is notified.
The Route generated by Collaborator Tasks may be changed by accessing the Route Properties or Tasks.
The Route Completion Action may be changed from Notify Route Owner to Promote Connected Object on the Route Properties page, using .
The Action Required: may be changed from All to Any (to complete the Route and notify the Owner when any one Task is Approved or Abstained), and Advanced Route settings, such as Due Date, Delegation, and Requires Owner Review, are editable on the Route Tasks page, using .
See Routes & Tasks for more information.
Collaborator creates an email to each selected user with link(s) to the included object(s).
You may enter a Subject and Message for the email.
The Subject line includes a drop down list with common notification reasons.
ENOVIA creates a Route, owned by the sender, with one Task, to notify the recipients.
The email notification is sent immediately, completing the Task and Route.
The notification creator receives an email notice of the completed Route and may view it at Routes > Routes, with the page filter set to Complete.
Collaborator subscribes the selected user(s) to a new message thread related to the included object.
The user(s) are sent an email notification of the discussion.
You may enter a Subject and Message to start the discussion.
NOTE: A Discussion is connected to a single object and can not be created when multiple objects are included in the Collaborator.
