Discussions Overview

A discussion is a message thread: a top-level message about an ENOVIA object and the replies to that message.

Each reply may have replies so there can be many levels within the discussion.

Discussions are attached to the object for which they are created, and stored in ENOVIA, reducing the need to rely on email messages maintained in a separate system.

All ENOVIA objects, such as projects, parts issues, and ECs, may have discussions.

Discussions are created and viewed in the context of the related object using Collaborate.

All Discussions in which you are included are displayed at > My Enovia > Discussions
