BOM Import Procedure
BOM Import ProcedureAfter entering the required and other data in the BOM Import Template, save the spreadsheet with a new name and note the name and location of the completed import file.
The Design Engineer or Supplier Engineer role in the RDO of the context part is required for the import.
To import the BOM into ENOVIA:
Access an Assembly part.
Select the EBOM PowerView on the Part Category Tree.
The EBOM PowerView displays the tab you last viewed.
Select the EBOMs tab.
Set the View drop down menu to EBOM.
Click 
on the page tool bar.
Select Import and Create BOM.
The Import and Create BOM window displays.
Click the File
field 
button .
The File Upload window displays.
Locate and select the spreadsheet with the BOM to import.
Click 
in the File
Upload window.
The file name and path are displayed in the File field in the Import and Create BOM window.
Click Done.
The EBOM tab refreshes showing the newly added parts and BOM structure beneath the context part.
