Tool Quote Request OverviewThe ENOVIA Tool Quote Request Info Tracker automates the process of requesting a tool quote from a supplier and passing that information along to Component Engineers for review and approval.
The Info Tracker lifecycle is set up with Routes to collect, disseminate and approve the Tool Quote information:
The Submit state workflow/Route for the particular supplier is selected by the Info Tracker creator from a list of Route Templates.
The Review state Route varies depending on the project RDO and must be selected by the Info Tracker creator. If set up before the Info Tracker reaches the Review state, the route is automatically generated at the completion of the Submit Route.
The Tool Quote Request Info Tracker generates two Excel spreadsheet files for the supplier to provide the quote:
The Info Tracker creator may delete the unused file, leaving only the appropriate file for the supplier.
