Orderable Reason Overview"Sellable parts" -- Identity = Sellable Item, FRU, and CRU -- connect to the Product Hierarchy through a Product Configuration.
Orderable Reason directly connects non-sellable parts to a Product Model without a Product Configuration:
Global Planning – Used for Supply Chain Global Volume Planning of key Components and Assemblies, such as Chassis and Transports.
Sales BOM Child – Used for Non-Sellable parts contained in SAP SBOMs.
Vendor Purchase - Used when parts are intended for inter-company transfers between Lexmark plants. Also used for sale to Lexmark vendors to be transformed and sold back or for other reasons.
