Part specifications are ENOVIA documents, used to contain files.
Part Specifications are for supporting information for parts.
A Part Specification can be:
Independent of any part (such as an Engineering Spec that describes standards for all power cables)
Attached to a single part (such as instructions for a FRU)
Attached to multiple parts (such as Artwork, for a Lexmark logo)
Part specifications may apply to a single part or to one or more parts:
A Single Part Specification has an identification number (Name) that matches the part.
A Global Use Part Specification may apply to one or more parts and has its own, unique name.
