Check / Grant Access to Parts in an EBOM
Check / Grant Access to Parts in an EBOMEBOM Access Report is available to ENOVIA users with the Design Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer system role and ownership of the assembly part.
To determine if a specific ENOVIA user has access to all the parts in an EBOM:
Access an assembly part.
Select the EBOM PowerView on the Part Category Tree.
Click 
on the page tool bar.
Select EBOM Access Report.
The Select User: EBOM Access Report window displays.
Click the User
Name browse/choose button 
.
A Search window displays to Find Person.
Enter search criteria for the person whose access to the EBOM you wish to check, and click Find.
A Select window with search results displays.
Use the radio buttons 
to select a person.
Click Submit.
The Select User: EBOM Access Report window displays the selected User Name.
Click Done.
The EBOM Access Report for the selected user displays.
The EBOM Access Report lists all of the parts in the EBOM that are not visible to the selected user.
The EBOM Access Report displays "No EBOM found" if the selected user has access to all the parts in the EBOM.
To give the user access to parts on the report:
Select parts using the check boxes
on the left.
Click Access on the EBOM Access Report page tool bar.
The Access page grid browser displays the Persons and / or Company(s) that already have access to the object.

To send an email to any ENOVIA user regarding parts shown in the EBOM Access Report:
Select parts using the check boxes
on the left.
Click Notify Users on the EBOM Access Report page tool bar.
The Create Message window displays.
In the To:
field, enter a person's ENOVIA user name or use the browse/choose to find and select ENOVIA users to receive the email.
Add any remarks in the Message area.
Click Done to send the message to the selected recipients.
NOTE: The selected user for the EBOM Access Report can not see any of the parts on the report unless access has been granted. If you send an email notification about these parts to this user before granting access, the user can not access the parts in the email.
