The Access rules govern who can find see objects in ENOVIA.
Lexmark business rules regarding access have changed and these changes are implemented in the ENOVIA 2015X Upgrade.
Parts at the time of the upgrade temporarily display two Access page tabs:
Access – for adding access to a Person or Company.
New parts created after the Upgrade will only use the Access tab.
Legacy Access – displays access from the previous system.
For about a month after the upgrade, former access entities, such as Projects, Project Organization Teams, and Member Lists, will be migrated to use only Person and Company.
After the migration is complete for all parts, Legacy Access is deleted, leaving just the Access tab to view, Add, and Remove.
Access only may be granted to Company or Person.
See Object Access and Security Classification for details.
Former access entities, such as Projects, Project Organization Teams, and Member Lists, are no longer used.
These entities will be migrated to use only Company or Person, over about a month after the Upgrade.
Before the migration, these access entities are listed on the Legacy Access tab of the object as described above.
Newly created object access shall operate according to the new, current Security and Access rules, using only Company or Person.
