EBOM Attributes
EBOM AttributesThere are several EBOM attributes:
The EBOM attributes exist on the EBOM relationship between an Assembly part and its child assembly/component parts.
The attributes, Quantity, Usage, Reference Designator, Component Location, and Subsystem, do not actually reside on the parts.
Because the EBOM attributes don't exist on the parts, they cannot be edited on the part Properties page.
The EBOM attributes must be modified in the EBOM PowerView for the Assembly part.

Quantity |
The quantity of the part used in the EBOM. |

Usage |
The usage of the part in the EBOM:

Reference Designator |
The position of an electrical part on a printed circuit board. |
|
Component Location |
The location where the part is used in the assembly, such as left, top, bottom, etc., or to designate a module for a part in an assembly. |

Subsystem |
Designates the functional area in which the part is used:
