  Costed EBOM Report (List Parts with Key Cost Criteria)

A costed EBOM report searches the children of the selected part, down through as many levels as specified, to display one of the following sets of parts from the BOM:

  1. Cost Object: Parts with costs that meet the criteria specified in the search form.

  2. No Cost Object: Parts with no associated cost.

  3. All Objects: Parts with all associated costs (parts with no cost are not listed).

When No Cost Object or All Objects is selected, the State and Location Attributes on the search form are hidden.

 

To view a costed EBOM report:

  1. Navigate to the desired assembly part.

  2. Access the EBOM PowerView, EBOMs or Flat BOM tab, or the Costs page of the part.

  1. Click on the EBOMs tab page tool bar or click on the Flat BOM tab or Costs page tool bar.

  2. Select List Parts with Key Cost Criteria . . . .

The List Parts with Key Cost Criteria window displays.

  1. Select a Search Type.

For Cost Object, select a State (or leave blank for all) and set search criteria under Location Attributes.

For No Cost Object and All Objects, no further criteria are allowed.

NOTE:    The Related Location field only appears for No Cost Object search type and is currently not used. Do not select a Related Location.

  1. Click Find.

The information displays in the Child Parts with Key Cost Criteria window.
