Relate Parts to Specifications
Relate Parts to SpecificationsA part must be in the Preliminary state to add to a part specification Related Items.
Access a specification.
See View Specifications.
Click Related Items on the specification category tree.
The Related Parts page displays.
Click 
(Add Existing) on the page tool bar.
A Search window, with the default Type of Part,Product Model Product Family displays.
Search for part(s).
The Search Results window displays.
Use the check boxes to select part(s).
Click Submit.
The Related Parts page displays the added parts.
